The Kansas City Area Health Care Recruiters Association represents a progressive network of leading healthcare employers, professional recruiters, and institutional members connected to keep ahead of the trends in health care in our community. 

KCAHCRA is considered the key resource alliance in our area for addressing mutual healthcare staffing challenges, retention strategies, and promotion of professional healthcare education. Our membership consists of hospitals and related organizations.

What defines us

The Kansas City Area Heath Care Recruiters Association, also known as KCAHCRA, is comprised of professional recruiters representing health care systems, hospitals, and long-term care providers.   This membership also includes institutional members who provide valuable resources and tools to advance recruitment in healthcare. 

KCAHCRA members join forces to promote health care as a profession in our local community area while still maintaining separate relationships on behalf of their own health care organizational needs.  Each member benefits from networking with their local industry peers in regards to the issues and trends in healthcare recruitment in ou community.  The members are collaborating to promote awareness of career opportunities in healthcare as a profession. Sponsorship of an Annual Health Care Career Day for selected high school students and issuance of nursing scholarships are good examples of this collaboration’s positive impact.
